About Me

Hello! My name is Ms. Houghton. I am SO excited to be the new music teacher this year at Hilton! We are going to have a wonderful year together.

In December of 2019, I graduated from Michigan State University after completing my student teaching placement in Dewitt Public Schools. After graduating, I was hired at Hilton as a long-term substitute teacher from February through the end of last year. This year I am thrilled to be back as the JK-4th Grade General Music teacher! I grew up in Rochester Hills, MI. My interests outside of music and teaching include cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family! ​
